Yes, had a BBQ again, but with my classmates this time. Lol, the attendance was not bad, at least more than half of the class came..=) We had it at Lin XIn's condo. Oohh, the place was really nice for a BBQ!! So cosy and serene..=Pp The food was quite different from what I had last time. There was Kebab sticks(capsicum wrapped in bacon strips), Salmon with garlic(yummmmmy!!) and mushrooms, on top of the usual stuffs. Played monopoly at the clubhouse later on. I haven played this game for a long time..=) Yup, it was quite an enjoyable and cosy bbq with my beloved classmates. In a few days' time, we are going to move up to J2. Juniors will come in and life will be really hectic for us. Hang in there everyone out there. We can do it! =)

I really hate to watch the news and read the newspapers these few days. The number of innocent lives taken away by the tsunami seems to grow bigger day by day. Guess we can't prevent disasters like this from happening. Nature is too poweful and next to it, Man seem so vulnerable and helpless. It came and went, but what it left behind were dead bodies,teary kins and destructed houses. My heart goes out to those who were hit by the impact of the tsunami.

Treasure every moment of your life and live every minute as though it's the last cos you never know what life has in store for you..

Today was such a long but fun day. Had budget day meeting in the morning. The few of us who were not involved in MAF and Ge Yao went off 1st to buy the stuffs for the BBQ. Managed to drag those stuffs to Parc Oasis where the BBQ is held. I guess we bought too much chicken. I'm quite sick of chicken now. It was quite a nice BBQ where we sat and crapped and most importantly, hold our IDC meetings to disseminate information on new scandals. Yea, preparation for Huang Cheng 2005 has officially started. Jia you everyone! Dun give up k? We can do it!! =)

There's this bottled-up feeling in me which I can't explain. I dunno what it is. I just dunno why I feel this way. Tell me how. Can anyone help me? Will anyone understand me? I know that this feeling will eventually go away one day, but as long as it is still here, I guess I'll just have to bear with it.

Went out with ade today. Lol, kept on seeing Waisan(who is also Geraldine's friend) when I meet Ade. I just love post-Christmas sales!! There's 50% storewide sales going on in almost every shop!! I managed to get a pink shirt from OP at just $11!!We had a fun time shopping around Bugis and Junction 8. Oh yes, I managed to catch a glimpse of Luo Zhi Xiang when I was at J8. He's sooooo shuai!!

Thanx Ade for ur X'mas card and present. I was so touched. Didn't expect u to buy me a present. Lol, u still rmb that I'm called Horny Bear huh?

Btw, Zhuan Ti Zuo Ye sucks. I still have 1000 more words to go.

Merry X'mas to all! Celebrated X'mas today with Jas, kl, bj, teng and xf. Yup, we walked around Orchard as usual. I guess the venue and activities doesn't matter. It is the people who matter most. I'm a person who's easily contented. Simple things in life like the company of friends, and a strawberry milkshake from MOS Burger can make me happy. Ha, I was grinning all the way while sipping on my yummy milkshake.

I guess I'm a really blessed person who has the company of wonderful friends all around me. In this season, I thank friends in 1/2Aliens, 3/4 Freakz, RVCO, 04S61, Zhong Wen Xue Hui(esp XC 04), LEP and HCCO for coming into my life, for being there for me all these while. You guys rock!

Reached home at 1 plus just now. Lol, we counted down at Kath's house. I totally enjoyed myself today. Thanx Kath, for being such a wonderful host,feeding us with tarts, cookies and ham accidentally tenderised by pineapple. Oohh..The group of us played Truth or Dare combined with Zong Ji Mi Ma just now and we digged out some really interesting stuffs. Ha, Zhiyong the Saint actually got stuffs to hide too. Yooohoo, u guys can stop teasing about him and me already!! =Pp

Went to open my letterbox and was surprised to receive X'mas cards from some people. Thanx people!! I was quite touched by some of them..=) Yea, X'mas is a season of giving and receiving..I love writing and getting X'mas cards!!

Yox people! Here's wishing all a Merry X'mas! I'm currently at Kathleen's house, celebrating X'mas with some of the freakx, mainly, me, Kath, leen, Chell, Chen, Yiwei, Kee Onn, Zhiyong and qiling and Aaron. We had been watching movies like HP and the prisoner of Azkaban, Love actually and pigging out the whole day. Hmm, played with the Tarot cards again today. It's quite true this time..=)

I was so tired when I reached home at 11 plus yesterday. Had been really busy with the Drama Camp on both Wednesday and Thursday. Though the attendance wasn't considered great, the fact that the campers were so enthusiastic make up for that. Hehe, there was a RVCLDDS(yes, CLDDS) guy who was so cute. Lol,his grin was so cute. I especially enjoyed the session at the inner plaza last night where we all sang the school songs and HC's songs. Yea, Zhong Wen Xue Hui rocks!! =Pp

I just found out that 24 hours a day is just too short. God, I had been back for 2 days and I had not really done anything constructive, in a sense, homework. Went for Chi Soc meeting on Monday. Started bitching and gossiping with Jinx and Co after the meeting. Seems like we had nothing better to do. We hanged around at Cine after that in hope of seeing Steven Chow. Instead, all we saw was just a bunch of Kungfu kids. It was getting rather late so we decided to go home.

As for today..I spent the morning packing my room and the afternoon slacking. Wanted to do some homework but I sat there and revised Chem instead. Lol, but I dun think I got anything into my head. Oh yes, I went to develop the photos already! Yayness! Shall show u guys if I see u! =-)

Hmm..I was thinking about some stuffs just now. COme to think of it, this world is just so hypocratical. Life is like a show, a drama. If u can't act well, u won't be noticed, u won't be recognised. Attracting attention is the word.

Bleah. Whatever it is, humans are complicated creatures. Period.

Hi people!! I'm finally back in SIngapore! I miss all the food and people here! I was craving for laksa and carrot cake while I was there cos' everyday, we had those kind of 10-course thingy for lunch and dinner. Kind of got sick of it after a while. There was once where we went for a super nice buffet dinner though.

Anyway, Naruwan!!(Welcome to Taiwan) This trip to Taiwan totally rocks!!I guess I can only give a brief account of the trip here. There's just so much to write about if I really blog about what we did for the past 15 days.

Firstly, let's touch on the accomodation. We stayed at Jian Tan Youth Hostel most of the time. The facilities there were quite good and 4 of us got to sleep together in 1 room. My room mates are Alexis, Mengni and Cui. Hehe, we had a lot of fun "sleeping together" for the past 2 weeks. The Jian Tan hostel was just next to the famous Shilin night market. The teacher-in-charge were really nice. They let us go out to Shilin almost every night. So u guys can imagine how much stuffs I bought and how much food I actually ate. It's a good place to shop for bags, shoes and clothes. I bougth all these plus tons of souvenirs for friends. One bad things about it is the crowd. I dreaded squeezing through the crowd when I was shopping there. When we headed down to Hua Lian and Tai Zhong, we got to stay in hotels. The hotel we staye in at Tai Zhong was sooo posh. There's like, 2 king-sized beds in each room, with ample space at the front for 8 people to play brige.lol. However, the most interesting lodging for us should be the cosy wooden huts in Ri Yue Tan and Xi tou. The experience was quite different from that of staying in a hotel I guess. The places we stayed in at this 2 places are situated on mountains, so the temperature there was much lower than that in Taipei and Tai Zhong. Ha, I think I almost froze to death in my sleep.

As for the learining parts, we listened to some talks regarding literature and chuang zuo, Some talks were helpful while others were totally amusing cos the speaker diden touched on the topic at all. There was once where this woman spent the whole day talking about pigs' trotters instead of hong lou meng..-_- We got to try some hand on activities like using knots to make a X'mas wreath and making potteries by ourselves. We went to attractions like the Taroko Gorge, ri yue tan etc, where we got to see works of nature which we have never seen before in Singapore. Taiwan is really a beautiful island surrounded by mountains and rivers..:)Oh yes, all of us got brainwashed by south park. We watched it every night and I think we are beginning to talk like the chacrters inside.

I think we are very lucky cos the teachers and guides were all so caring towards us and they allowed us to have as much freedom as possible. I guess that's why we got to shop around so many times. I was also very touched by the care and concern the guides and teachers have shown towards us pupils. We felt so attached to the guides that one of them can;t hold back her tears when we were entering the departure gate. Though this is a trip organised by MOE, I think the guides and teachers did a great job by not being too harsh with us and allowing us to go out every night.

14 days seemed long to me at first, but after a while, I realised that time is slipping away very quickly. Before we knew it, it was already the end of the trip. I guess 2 weeks is just nice for a trip like this. We had time to know each other better and also explore the place well. I missed home at the beginning, but after a few days, I gradually got used to the pace of life here and I dreaded going home to face the reality..haix.

That basically sums up our trip. It totally rocks!!! The people in Taiwan, the people in this trip, the food and culture all rocked! *yea*

I'll miss Taiwan. Think I'll go back there again if I have the chance..=) Goodbye Formosa!

Hiyee guys!! Surprise!! Haha. I'm currently in Tai Zhong. Just came here from Taipei yesterday. I just moved into a 5 star hotel with 2 king sized beds in each room. There's internet access in the lobby, so here I am!!! LALAA. Our hostel in Taipei was damn nice and cosy and it's next to Shilin Ye shi. LOL. We had been going there every night .I had been shopping like mad and savouring the yummy stuffs here in Taiwan like a glutton. Shit, think I grew fatter. Dun worry, I bought things back for u guys!! ;) lala!! I'll be back this Sunday! Dun miss me!! I miss Singapore!! But I'm having a hell lot of fun here too!! Life rocks right now!!

Going out for dinner and shopping at another night market in Tai Zhong later!! Byee! Will try to update again if I can!! =P

This is probably my last entry before I leave for Taiwan. Let's hope
that i get hold of internet access somehow and try to update my blog
there..:)
OK, I think I'm all ready for the trip! Stupid M*E, require us to board
the plane with our sch blazers, tie and collar pin. Bleah* Hmm..hope I
diden leave anything behind. I brought all the things I could, including
Hong Lou Meng and the other JCs Maths Papers to practise.*lol*

Heard that there's typhoon in Taiwan..=S But it should be over soon..=)

Ok. I'm slow. BUT I finished reading the Da Vinci Code!!!It's so nice!
Full of twists and turns which are totally captivating. I was so fascinated
by what was mentioned about Da Vinci's works in the novel that I started
searching on these works online. Should go take a look at danbrown.com or davincicode.com. There's some interesting stuffs there.

I want to visit Europe! I want to go to The Louvre Museum!!! Yea, there's
a lot of people debating over the issues regarding Christianity in the
novel. But whatever it is, I never knew all these until I read the novels.
So there's so much more meaning behind Leonardo Da Vinci's works. Really
interesting. I want to visit Louvre!!!

I'm hooked onto his books! Shall try to get my hands on Angel and Demon and Digital Fortress..=)

1 more day of slacking before I leave Singapore!!

Oh yea!! The Grand Finals of the Singapore Idol was simply fantastic!
Wee~Taufik won! Ha, he was so good that I voted 3 times for him. I started
picking up the phone to vote whenever he finished a song. I think Sly did
quite well too. Though his version of It's My Life sucked like hell, I seriously
think that his version of I Dream was much nicer, sincere and heart-warming than
Taufik's. It diden feel like a competition to me at all. It felt more like a
totally cool concert to me. Seriously, I'm quite proud of both Sly and Taufik.
They have both displayed very good attitude towards the competition and made
it really enjoyable for the audience and fans. Luckily Sly diden win, or that
poor guy will be slammed by everyone again. I look forward to seeing Taufik do
us proud at the World Idol competition and Sly hitting the mando-pop market..:)

Oh, I'll miss Singapore Idol. It kept me glued to the TV screens every
Thursday night and made me have something to look forward to every week.
Boo, life will be quite boring now without Singapore Idol.

I went back to RVHS to visit my RVCO juniors on Tuesday. Jas, leen and
pf also went together with me. *sigh* It was their last prac at the old
building before RV moves to her temporary site at Commonwealth. I started
taking pictures of the school building the moment I stepped into the
school compound. The sight that greeted me left me feeling quite depressed.
Reality finally sank in. As much as we used to complain that the sch
compound is the oldest and smallest one in S'pore, still, it housed all
our wonderful memories. I visited the 1A and 2A classrooms and images of
things we did then just flashed across my mind. The corridor where the
guys fought with broomsticks, the classroom facing the reservoir, the
stinky AVA 1 where we had our CO pracs and Clit lessons and the tiny
CO store where we used to hang out after school will be gone.

I guess upgrading the school is for the good of the future generations,
so that they will have better facilities and a better environment to
study in. However, I can't help feeling sad that the old sch compound
will be gone. All the benches, noticeboards and desks are out of sight.
The school looked so..empty, so qi liang.

Mr Lum was there and they were having da zu. They happened to be playing
wu ti. As I hear them play, I felt tears coming to my eyes. lol, it's not
that they played it well. It's just that hearing that song reminded me
of SYF 2001 and how much I missed that song. Tsk, that was so silly of me.
Luckily the juniors diden see me cry or they would have thought that
I was mad.

Yea. Being a typical SI(a personality test I did) person, I resist changes.
It takes me a very long time to accept changes and I guess it will take me
awhile to get over the fact that the old sch compound will be gone. Wo shi
ge xi huan huo zai guo qu mei hao hui yi li de ren...=) Guess I have to
change this characteristic of mine.

2 more days to my trip to Taiwan. Suddenly, I dun feel
that enthusiastic anymore..
