I'm feeling very lethargic now. Just came back from Chinese Soc's hui4 qing4. Frankly speaking, hardly any emotions ran through me just now. It's been almost 4 mths since Huang Cheng ended. Everything felt very distant to me now, or rather, huang Cheng 05 was a blur to me. Huang Cheng 05 just did not have the magical touch of Huang Cheng 04. Everything from HCYY 04 is still vivid in my mind. I always feel nostalgic whenever I reminiscenced about those days. HCYY 05 was almost like a nightmare to me, which I subconsciously deleted from my mind.

All the best to the new batch of zhi weis n chou weis for their preparations for Huang Cheng 06. I'm looking forward to going to VT next yr with the XC peepx to watch Huang Cheng..=)

Thursdays are always long days for us, with classes ending at 4.40. Ha, I was so tempted to take OCP cos the last lesson happened to be PE n we had a break of 2hrs before it starts.

SOme of us got to retake NAPFA cos we diden meet the silver/gold criteria, including yours truly. Boo...I wanna play frisbee with the class! PE today was horrible for Mengni n I cos' we had a horrible encounter with Porno Mario. Shall not talk about it. Makes my blood boil. Felt like slapping him.

I finally learned the correct technique to do standing broad jump after all these years, thanx to Ms Lum's patience guidance.

Ran a few rounds around the track with Mengni and my leg muscles are feeling rather sore now. That's the outcome of not excercising regularly.Hmm..Mengni jia you! U can do it!

I'm starting to feel very stressed now. The teachers are dropping tests n throwing tutorials into our faces. There's LEP test every week, tons of Chem tuts to be done and many more tests awaits us. I'm dreading 11th Aug cos there's both chem n econs test on that day! Guess I'll lock myself up in the house during the National Day holidays to mug.
On top of all these, there's 2 yrs' worth of revision to be done. Where am I going to find time for all these???

Mr Ang announced on Monday that there's half-day off today. Ha, but thanks to the wonderful HC Arts Fest(which showcases all the SYF groups), I'm currently in the school library instead of going out to play. I actually spent 4hrs in here, mugging plus reading the long-awaited HPHPB. Come to think of it, I'm beginning to fall in love with the school library.

What's the point of having an Arts Fest when no one in the school knows about it? They are even selling tickets for the concert at 3 bucks each! Fancy them giving us the half-day holiday on the day of the concert. No one in the right mind will come back at 7 in the evening to watch the concert. I'm prepared to see air molecules as audiences later on.

Watching NJCO concert on Friday, attending Chinese society's Hui Qing on Saturday, going for CO's qing gong yan next friday, welcome-back dinner for Angela next Saturday...

I'll try to squeeze in time for mugging n tutorials admist all these..*bleah*

Must mug! Mugging is the top priority in my life now!

Went for the Zpop concert which was held at Suntec City. Saw quite a handful of Hwa-chongnians there. Haha, guess we were all there thanks to the complimentary tickets..=)
Luckily I never bought the tickets in the 1st place. I would have killed myself if I found out that the school was giving out free tickets.

I think last year's concert was better, with acts like FIR, Energy who could make everyone go high. There are great singers like Jiang Mei Qi,Jones,Fan Weiqi etc, but the atmosphere was just not there. Everyone was so dead until JJ made his appearance. People suddenly rushed forward n were screaming at the top of their lungs.

*swoons* JJ is truly a very talented singer. His live performances never failed to impress me. He is really Singapore's Jiao1 ao4!

*tickticktick* How many more days to prelims???

Having 3 periods of break now. Currently slacking my time away in the library.
So happy that weijian got in! Ha, diden waste my SMSes! =)

Happy racial harmony to all! In case u do not know(I almost forgot), it's racial harmony day today! Wasn't in the mood to dress up in traditional costumes unlike last year n the year before. In fact, I almost diden wanted to come to sch today cos I was feeling so drained!

The school admin is being nice for once: They gave out complimentary tickets to the Zpop concert this Saturday! Haha, something to look forward to without even burning a hole in my pocket.

It's almost the end of the week, which means that yet another week has flew past just like that. Can't seem to bring myself to start mugging. Bleah, must get into the momentum to mug!!

Btw,someone has been pissing everyone off recently. It's quite obvious that we are not very happy with her, but she just don't seem to get it.*tsktsk*

2 tests coming up right after the national day holidays..someone save me!

*rah* I knew who died, who killed him and who's the half-blood prince even without reading the book. I refuse to know the answers, wanting to find out for myself when I read the book, but it turns out that everyone in school was talking about it!! *sobx* No more surprises for me! Shall patiently wait for mini-bee to finish the book..=)

I succumbed to 周公 and fell asleep at 9 last night. Thought I'll be wide awake today after 8 hrs of sleep, but I 'm still feeling as lethargic as ever! Everyone is turning into mugging machines n so have I. Haix, exactly 4 more months before I declare myself free from the torture of the A'level syllabus!!

I'm now counting down to 4th August for Charlie n the Chocolate Factory! Something to look forward to in the midst of all the mugging. I loved Roald Dahl books when I was a kid. Had a large collection of them on my bookshelf. Sad to say, I have no idea where they are now! Shall try to find Charlie n the Chocolate Factory n read it again before catching the movie。

I am dying of curiosity now. I want to read Harry Potter n the half-blood prince! Damian's entry on it is driving me bonkers. Shall go bug mini-bee in school for the book.

Shall start my revision tml. But it may fail if I manage to lay my hands on the book.

Some things are better left unknown. I know it will come someday. I hope it will come only after I have gotten over that. Sorry,what I'm saying here doesn't make much sense at all.

I'm feeling empty all of a sudden.

Went out with the xc peepx today. We wanted to go to the settler's cafe(board-games cafe) at clarke quay intially, only to realise that it was fully booked upon reaching there. Ha, jinx n zy were talking about plan b, which is to cruise the s'pore river, that is like -_-..

damian suggested going to the newly-opened mind's cafe(another board games cafe) opposite paradiz centre, which turned out to be quite nice n affordable. felt real comfy in there cos there were couches n tables there. the workers there were really nice, introducing new games to us rather patiently n enthusiastically. played a really nice game(which i couldn't recall the name) while waiting for the others to come so that we can start our 2-hr package. there are so many different types of board n card games at the cafe, like special editions of monopoly(the dog,lotr etc) n cluedo(the simpsons!) or even some which i have never seen before. i think squint is a rather interesting game! it's something like charades, except that there's many many cards with various shapes n lines on them. u r supposed to roll a die n try to "build" the object with the number corresponding to the number indicated on the die n the other players are supposed to guess. one chip each for the builder n the person who guessed the object n everyone take turns to be the builder.
*so fun*

Ha, damian was so engrossed in his copy of HPHBP. *rah* i want to know who died(dun tell me yet)!!! Can't wait to lay my hands on it! I hope it's not a disappointment like the order of the phoenix. i shall buy them at one go when the 7th book comes out.

mind's cafe is a way to hang out with ur friends. can't do this every week though. it will burn a hole in my pocket.

trying hard to finish all my tutorials by tonight. shall pop by bishan j8 tml to take a look at jones n the contestants in the revival round of project superstar. i'm all for weijian n kelly. there's no reason why they should not be in the semi-finals. they are far better than many of the contestants who are still in the competition.

how many more days to prelims? 40 plus? shall plan my revision time-table tml n hopefully,stick close to it!!

Happy birthday jinxie winxie!!! Ha, u certainly had a very green birthday huh. Seems like the stuffs u received were all green. It was quite embarrassing to walk around the streets of orchard with her as she was carrying this huge nicholas tse jigsaw around. Needless to say, it attracted some curious stares.

*yum*i'm still thinking about the oreo cheesecake from tcc. what a wonderful way to spend the afternoon..chatting with some friends over a cup of coffee.

june tay n the class spent the whole of Gp period discussing about the nkf issue. i was quite disgusted by a certain mr durai after reading the papers yesterday. btw, if mrs goh thinks that what mr.durai earns is just "peanuts" to her, that means her monthly salary is way higher than 25k.

whatever.i might sound unfeeling, but i was kind of glad that i haven made any donations at all for the past 4 yrs. i stopped doing that when they raised the price from $2/call to $5/call.

If u have 10 bucks left and dunno what to splurge it on, I suggest catching the movie be with you. It ends this wednesday and is only showing at Cathay Cineleisure. Such a sweet n melancholic show...=) It's been a long time since I was touched by a movie. be with you leaves u feeling all warm n fuzzy after watching it..

wee~i got a c for chem, which was way beyond my expectations. Thought I'll be quite screwed cos i diden really know what i was writing for the structured questions. Ha, ended up that my free-response questions saved my day!

my grades for the papers i've gotten back so far have all improved by quite a lot, compared to Bt1. Ha,but i won't be too complacent..I must strive harder for prelims n A'levels!!!

My legs are going to break soon. I had been walking n standing for more than 12 hrs, from 11 plus in the morning to 12 mid-night. Started off my day by shopping at orchard with kiasypoo. We were in search of ****'s present. We had a great time shopping cos there were crazy sale everywhere. mango's clothes were down to less than half of their original prices n we went crazy with the crowd there.

We met jas n headed down to the indoor stadium at around 5 plus for energy's goodbye singapore concert. Oh yes, the roads near the national stadium were closed due to the ndp preview. while loitering outside the indoor stadium, the(yes,the!) helicopter with the singapore flag flew past us! it was flying at quite a low altitude n we were all being so patriotic, snapping away with our camera phones.

back to the concert(i think only kiasypoo will be bothered to read this part). it was great!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost lost my voice from all the screaming n singing. oh god, energy totally rocked the whole stadium down. everyone, including yours truly, was so high!! their dances were superb. it was really a treat for our eyes. ah di tried his best to participate in as many dances as possible though he's suffering from a slipped disc.

after 3 years' of hard work, they showed great improvement in their vocal skills. as usual,ah di sang wondefully. i especially loved the part where they performed their solo items. it was pure bliss to hear just his voice with the accompaniment of a guitar. they must have worked really hard for this concert cos everything was just so perfect. they were really sincere n appreciative of their fans. they even took a deep bow n thanked all their fans at the end of eveything. i think it'll be a very long time before they come together again.

2 yrs' ago, i watched their very first concert in singapore. 2 yr's later, i'm back at the same place, watching the same group of people performing on stage. Excited as I am, there's a tinge of sadness in me throughout the whole concert. i was holding back my tears all the while, but i started weeping like mad when they sang the last song n waved goodbye to us.

2hrs of great dances, heart-melting ballads, screams, laughter, tears and sweat..
it was worthed far more than $90.

BT2 is finally over!! hooray! bleah. i diden get to rest for 5 days like u guys did cos my lep paper 2 ended only on wednesday. yay~went to watch initial-d after the lep paper. *squeals* edison is soooo cute!! jay is very cute too!! not a bad movie to catch. it's quite ok to pay 7 bucks for some exciting racing scenes n candies for ur eyes. i can't help but agree with jinx that edison n jay had a super ai3 mei4 relationship in the show.

the syf showcase went quite smoothly for us. i thought we were quite good. no major errors and stuffs and we managed to get the feeling back! 3 cheers for co!! ha,can't believe i'm saying this, but i'll kind of miss co. i had been grumbling for the past 1 yr abt pracs and the never ending performances n events, but it feels weird to wash my hands off all these after being involved in performances like this since my days in rvco.

bleah.just watched the results show of jue dui superstar.weijian is out!! i regretted not voting for him! i shall vote for him when he comes back to fight for a place in the semi-finals next time.

haix. life is back to normal again. mugmugmug.

It's finally friday! BT2 is almost over for me! Left with 0.5 paper to go and that has to be lep paper2. Boo.Half the world must be partying now with a 5 days' break ahead of them. ha, i'll be busy cramming stuffs from the ever-so-dark cha guan, scandalous hong lou meng, trashy xiao shuos n translations for tang shis into my head!

BT2,surprisingly,had been rather ok for me. I think I felt more at ease n less panicky while doing the papers compared to BT1. bt1 was taken without any preparations due to huang cheng n stuffs.ha, i was quite shocked that i managed to solve so many maths questions considering the fact that i failed maths so frequently.
eh,really hope that i won't fail any subjects.
