I was arranging the stuffs in my drawer just now when I found a "diary" which I kept back in secondary school. I almost died from reading the stuff I wrote. Xue Fen, if u are reading this, I'm telling you this: I was ALMOST as irrational as you! Can't help but reminiscene about those crazy days back in RV. Come to think of it, I feel very detached from RV now.Everything just seem so unfamiliar n alien. Dunno how I'll feel when I see the new school building. The old sch compound was small n sort-of run-down, but I miss it like mad now cos it was where I forged some wonderful friendships. Hmmm..Think I'll go back there after A'levels..=)
Bah.I'm damn worried about Prelims. 2 more days to GP n 12 more days to Maths n Econs!!!

I feel damn guilty. I had the Swensen's $4 sundae more than twice this week!! Ha, but I couldn't resist the temptation of having a Cookie Summit for just 4+ bucks. Well, I did went jogging at NTU just now. Hope that had managed to help me burn some calories. No more ice-cream for me! Must try my best to jian fei! =)
Anyway, it was the last day of school yesterday, not officially, but rather, the last "normal" school day. It was so exciting! I was in a rather good mood for the whole of yesterday, going around taking pictures. Took a lot of pictures with my beloved classmates. WeE~I love 04S61!! Ha, and Siva was so funny. We wanted to ask him to help us take a class photo, but he thought that we wanted to take one WITH him. Eh, so he just squeezed in and we had to grab someone along the corridor and ask her to help us take a picture!LOL.
We did an online survey on Thurs, regarding the school. There was a question which said " I will choose this school again if given the choice" and my answer was Yes. I had always wanted to come to HC, ever since secondary school. Really, I can't imagine myself elsewhere. I'll probably die in RJ or AC. To me, HC=Huang Cheng, HCCO, LEP and 04S61. If I had chosen NJ instead of HC in the 1st place, I would have missed out all these and our paths would never have crossed. I love HC for our culture, events and most importantly, my friends and teachers(most of them anyway). JC life is indeed short. Orientation felt like yesterday, and now, we are going to take our A'levels soon. To put it simply, Hwa Chong is my kind of place..=D
And, Wee~I'm on my way to becoming a muggy mugger! I mugged Maths from morning till night today! Managed to do some sums and go through some worked examples. Beng Beng, I hope our class will not disappoint u this time! =)

Can't believe it. It's the last week of school for the j2s. Ok, not exactly the LAST week, but the last time we'll be having lectures and tutorials together as a class. And yes, I'll miss all these.
I'll miss slacking around during lectures, passing the class diary around and spotting for our eye-candies. I think I enjoyed Chem lectures the most cos the chem teachers were all very entertaining lecturers. Eh, Econs lect should be last on my list cos Siva had been lecturing us for more than half the time and he never fail to call me during every lecture. Bah,I'll even miss the (supposedly) boring tutorials, especially Ms Wong's(lame jokes generator) Chem tuts and Beng²'s Maths tuts where she will go, "Ah..This came out in the year blah, Paper blah, Section blah question blah..").
Most importantly, I'll miss the class. 1 and a half years of precious memories are still vivid in my mind. Going to school everyday has been a joy for me because of the presence of you guys. You guys made my day..=D
After Friday, we will mugging hard and vying for the title of juedui muggerstar! Haha.
All the best to 04S61 and my j2 friends. We will survive. =D
Oh,rah*. I have to stop daydreaming and thinking about all those stuffs. Have to clear my mind and make way for the stuffs in the notes..=)

I feel like a pig! I slept from 8 on friday to 8 the next morning! Woah, 12 hours' of sleep. That's something which I have not done for a long time. I wasted precious mugging time!! Ha, but really, I felt quite good when I woke up the next morning, all refreshed and all that. Hmm, shall make weekends my "recharging" sessions so that I'll be more productive during the weekdays.
Had been raining over the weekend, but I like it! I love gloomy n cloudy days. I was at home the whole weekend, mugging away, watching tv, listening to music and listening to the pitter-pattering sound of the rain outside my window. How nice. I hope every weekend will be like this too, except for the days when I am going out.*lol*
I have been in a very good mood for the whole of this week. Hope this will continue and keep me going till the end of A'levels. Smilez people! The world is a beautiful place!!
"We are beautiful, no matter what they say. Cos' words can't bring us down." yea~
Project Muggerstar

Everyone's turning into Muggerstars now, or at least some individuals in S61..=D I think it's good to continue with our Project Muggerstar. We will be more motivated to mug. I think the ones leading now are Ah Fai n Lumpy..*lol* Must catch up with them!
Mr Ang just kindly reminded us during Wed's CT session that we have less than 3 weeks left to the prelims. Argh. And I'm still revising at a snail's pace. I think the next 2 months will be the most painful period in our life. Sometimes, I really wish that the A'levels will be over when I wake up from my sleep. Fat hope. =/
Speaking of Project -stars, I was totally blown away by xinhui's performance today. She may not look as glamourous as Kelly, but what truly made her shine was her vocals. Don't know what the results will be like. We shall find out later.;)

*poof* The weekend is gone in a flash!
Oh Jinx n Lumpy, must ask more people to take part in jue dui muggerstar. *lol* Something to inspire everyone in class to MUG! We will get our 4As! =S
Went for Ge Yao yesterday. I think they are generally more organised than we were last year. Nice backdrop, nice ticket n prog booklet(great job Beng!) The guest performers from Mu Chuan totally rocked, so did JinJing n Jias. Was totally blown away by their performances. As for the compostions, no offence here, but I prefer last year's pieces..=)
There were some screw ups here and there, but it's the juniors' 1st time organising a major event afterall, so I hope they won't be too hard on themselves. Learn from your mistakes n you'll be better! Dun give up! You guys still have a lot of events lined up in front of you..=)
Haha, went to KAP with xc 04/05 plus ksp n aj after that and we ended up sharing juicy gossips with one another. Boy, this is so exciting!! Gossips and more gossips..=D
But some stuffs can be rather shocking though...;)
Shall embark on my journey to being a muggerstar. I'll survive!
Letting go....letting go....can I?

2 tests down, 1 more to go tml and I will be done with this week's tests. wee~
Anyway, I had a rather nice National Day holiday. Went to the celebrations@Heartland at Yishun with jinx, HF, ksp n sk. Got dragged there due to jinx's desire to catch Nicholas Tse n HF wanting to see Twins. It was my 1st time in 18 yrs spending National Day with my friends instead of the TV set. Almost the whole of Singapore were dressed in either red or white that day, so did I. The fireworks were really pretty, especially that shower of golden glitters. Bleah, diden manage to take any nice shots. Jinx did managed to take some nice photos n erm, videos too.
And I finally watched Charlie n the chocolate factory! Had been counting down to the release of this movie since a few months ago. The movie was fantastic n I think Johnny Depp really brought life to the show with his role as Willy Wonka. I felt like a little kid all over again when I saw the settings. I loved the way Tim Burton presented the songs n dances by the Oompa Loompas.Totally hilarious. One thing which spoilt the movie though, was the flashbacks on Wonka's childhood. I mean, they should, perhaps, leave more space for our imagination n not explain everything in such great details. Hmm, but it was still a great movie. Feel like watching it again!
32 days to Prelims(not counting GP)
Patriotic
Monday, August 08, 2005
Monday, August 08, 2005
I'm in a patriotic mood right now after the National Day's celebrations in sch. Those Sing Singapore songs are playing non-stop in my head. Ha, even wore a red shirt to sch today despite knowing the fact that red plus beige is a no-no colour combi. Nvm, it's afterall, our nation's 40th birthday, must join in the fun.
We took quite some time to decide on where to go n what to do after that, but managed to reach a conclusion that we should head down to Bugis. Had lunch at a thai restaurant. Prices were reasonable n the food was really good. HF was tearing like mad after gobbling down that bowl of green curry n sk looked as though he's going to pen1 huo3 any moment. Ha, I'm immune to spicy food so the meal was simply enjoyable to me. Walked around Bugis street and had dessert(HF's recommendation) at a shop selling Taiwanese Mango ice n strawberry ice. It was heavenly n I started making weird noises, much to jinx's amusement.
Went to the guan yin miao later to pray. The temple was so crowded even though it's a monday afternoon.
The 2 guys went off(to god knows where..=P) while jinx n I headed towards The National Library. It's my first time visiting it since it opened 2 weeks ago. We were so so impressed by all the stuff in the library. Though we missed the red-brick building a lot, I can't help but admit that this new library is really really cool. Despite it having 16 levels, we can only borrow books from the basement level n the books there are those which u can find in almost every other library.
That's not really important anyway cos what impressed me most was the reference books sections. The collection of books is really huge, but very well-organised. They don't just dump all books on sociology in a corner. Books under sociology were further classified according to their nature. Jinx n I were delighted over our finds at the chinese reference books section cos there were so many books on Hong Lou Meng!!! Spent quite some time browsing through almost every book on Hong Lou Meng. Too bad all these books cannot be loan out!!!!! *pouts*
Over at the Singapore reference section, we discovered the whole collection of Dian Shi Guang Bo Zhou Kan (aka the ancestor of I-weekly). We found issue no.1 from 1973, priced at only 50 cents, compared to I-weekly now which costs 2 bucks! The magazines were in good condition n we had a great time browsing through them, laughing at the song-ness of the content n constumes of the people. We were so engrossed with exploring the library that we diden realise that we had actually spent 5 hrs in there! haha...
The National Library is a great place for mugging. I love the way the sun shines through the floor-to-ceiling windows n how we can view the sea n the bustling city life through those windows. Think I shall try going there to mug next time.
Wee~Looking forward to the 2 days' break ahead of me.

Happy Birthday Eileen Loo!! I bet u love ur presents right? Must thank XF for her irrationality..;) Too bad we couldn't wrap *something* up as a present for u=D
Anyway, went for HCCO's Qing Gong Yan at SeoulGarden@Taka yesterdayday. Imagine more than half the CO there. We made hell lot of noise, especially over at the guan yue table. But it was very fun! It's been ages since I last ate at Seoul Garden. Haha..there were lots of crappy conversations going on n eugene lim commented that he don't get my sense of humour. Si Kapo, u r no better..*lol*
Shared a table with leen, jiankai n sixiang n leen and i did most of the cooking lah! Our hands were attacked countless times by the oil splatters..*ouch* We diden eat a lot of meat in the end as most of them end up getting burnt. But we did eat lots of maggi mee n egg cooked in soup. We felt so stupid cos we went to a seoul garden buffet to eat maggi mee?? That's like, so crappy!! I felt quite bloated at the end(as usual). We took loads of pictures. It will be nicer if kapo was not in them. He managed to squeeze in every time despite countless attempts to exclude him in the picture...*lol* We were just playing around lah, hope he doesn't mind.
Had an informal "prize-presentation" at the end of the day. Must say a big THANK YOU to jiankai, sixiang n the other guanyue juniors for their presents. I was damn elated cos I received Winnie the pooh stuffs!!!!!!!*squeeeeeaaaling* Oh yes, must thank enoch too for the beautiful guanyue group photo..=)
Reached home smelling like BBQ meat, but feeling really happy at the same time. I guess this marks the end of my CO career? Had been in this CCA for 6 yrs, it's quite hard to let go of it at once.
I will miss HCCO a lot. Surprised that this is coming out from my mouth? 1 yr ago, I can never imagine myself saying this. I guess, life is all about choices. 1 yr ago, a bunch of us were caught in a dilema on whether to go back to CO or not after Huang Cheng had ended. I almost quitted CO, but due to some seniors' persuasion, I decided to give it a try. I remember how I used to dread Mondays n Wenesdays cos there's CO pracs, complaining n pondering over whether I shld pon or not. But I still went in the end..=)
I will never forget Beyond Boundaries, Tian Lai Hu Yin,SYF 2005 n the countless performances we had. I will remember how we used to go out for dinner after pracs when we were in J1 n how noisy guanyue was during pracs. If I have not returned to CO, I will never get to know batch mates like Eugene(s), Alex, Geraldine,Ying Ting, juniors like jiankai, delin, chengrong, n most importantly, I dun think I'll be so close to frens from XC/CO if not for the fact that I'll see them during CO pracs too.
I guess I made the right choice back then. Yet I wonder how my JC life would be like if I had made a different choice back then. Another chapter of my JC life has ended..
It's REALLY time to settle down and mug..=)
phew

Happy Birthday Timoo!!
Wee~I survived this horrible week!!
I was dreading this week cos there's loads of tests, but somehow, they are all over now!
Come to think of it, this week had been rather slack for me, with Maths lectures ending 1 period earlier n the absence of Dr.Siva for Econs tutorials.
Had been slacking like mad during the triple breaks instead of mugging. Should learn from HF n aspire to be the next jue dui muggerstar.
Oh yes, spotted tons of saga seeds scattered all over the sloping road near the TCHS swimming pool on Wednesday. We went crazy and started picking the saga seeds. I've heard abt the saga trees in TCHS, but have never seen them dispersing the seeds before. Quite a pretty sight except for the fact that there's a bunch of TCHS boys rushing for the saga seeds too.
Prelims n A'levels are drawing near, but so is Prom! I'm very excited about it cos this will be the 1st time I'm attending Prom. Can't wait for A'levels to be over!
There's mountains of Chem tutorials to be done this weekend. Save me! Shall spend the weekend clearing up my homework..*bleah*
I'm feeling happpppyyyyyyyyy this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ESFJ-The Provider You scored 63% I to E, 52% N to S, 14% F to T, and 36% J to P! |
Providers, a subgroup of the Guardians, take it upon themselves to arrange for the health and welfare of those in their care, as well as being quite sociable. Wherever they go, Providers take up the role of social contributor, happily giving their time and energy to make sure that the needs of others are met, that traditions are supported and developed, and that social functions are a success. Providers are extremely sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes them perhaps the most sympathetic of all the types, but which also leaves them rather self-conscious, that is, highly sensitive to what others think of them. Because of this Providers can be crushed by personal criticism, and will work most effectively when given ample appreciation both for themselves personally and for the service they give to others. This is not to say that Providers are afraid to express their own emotional reactions. They are quick to like and dislike?and don?t mind saying so?tending to put on a pedestal whatever or whoever they admire, and to come down hard on those people and issues they don?t care for. You share your type with 10% of the population. As a romantic partner, you work hard to nuture and protect your relationships. You go to great lengths to maintain harmony and are motivated to resolve conflicts. You have a very clear idea of what is important to you and do best when your partner shares those same values. You want your partner to be loving, commited, and willing to support your frequently overwelming feelings and reactions. You feel most appreciated when your partner is kind, considerate, and helpful, and compliments you often on your hard work in their behalf.
