Friday was my 1st day at work. Just one day is enough to make me realise that those 9 to 5 office jobs are not my cup of tea. I was almost bored to death there. The people there are nice, but I kind of pitied them, having to face the computer for almost 10 hrs everyday.

I need to talk, move around and interact with people. If not for the fact that it pays very well, I would have quitted the job. And one thing I am puzzled over is that, does the company has a lot of money to spend? Why would they pay so much to hire temp workers like us to do stuffs like entering data and summing up the accounts? I thought I was more of a hindrance than help. The workers there could have done all these at a much faster speed than me. What if I mess up their data? Dun care lah, since it's only for one week, I shall try to do a good job and siam after that.

And yes, I have to get my prom shopping done soon. If not, I'll have to turn up in the sch uniform, which may not be a bad idea afterall. Everyone will notice me that night. =)

Have to say a big "THANK YOU" to berton for giving me this temporary job lobang. Haha, i know it's still too early to say whether the job is good or not, but for the sake of money, anything is worth it. Besides, it's only for 1 week plus. At least, I'll have some income for the whole of next week.

And I can afford to splurge more for prom stuffs!

Bah, and I still think prom is such a headache! Dun really wanna care already!

Combed almost the whole of Orchard with jinx,kia and lumpy yesterday for prom stuffs. My feet was aching like mad when i reached home. And i still hasn't bought anything for prom yet!!

No dress, no clutch, no shoes and no accessories!! Help!!

I finally went to watch Goblet of Fire. I went in without very high expectations of the movie, after hearing the negative comments all around me.
Surprisingly, the movie was better than I had expected. It gave me a way different feel from the 1st three movies, definitely much darker and more thrilling. A pity the tri-wizard bits were kind of short and less exciting than the one in the book. Boo, and they left out poor Winky and Dobby. House elves are important too you know.

I think the worse bits in the movie were the scenes with Dumbledore in them. I missed Richard Harris as Dumbledore. Michael Gambon lacked that kind of enchantment and charisma which Albus Dumbledore possesses. Looking at the way he is yelling and shouting, it seems like he's heading a military school instead.

Luckily, the other actors' outstanding performances saved the movie. Daniel Radcliffe was good as usual.=) Ahh..I love Fred and George!! Things will never get boring with them around. Hmm..but i'm not used to the Weasley brothers sporting long hair though.
And I dun understand why Hermione went ga-ga over beefy Victor Krum. It's obvious that Cedric Diggory is a much better choice!! I knew he was going to die, but I can't help but still feel sad when he was killed ! =(

Cedric!! Ahhh...Can I go to the Yule Ball with him instead of HC's prom?


Speaking of prom, one word to describe it: ARGH. Prom=headache when u have no figure, no looks and not much money and I am having a major headache right now.

I hope I dream of myself taking part in the tri-wizard tournament tonight! =)

Haven been there since god-knows-when. I remember going crazy over the quidditch games last time. Haha, and I bought 1 chocolate frog almost every week in order to collect all the cards inside. Of course I failed to do so cos I started to grow sick of the chocolate frogs! Any takers for a game of Quidditch cards? They are still hidden away in a corner of my drawers.=)

By hook or by crook,I am going to watch GOF on Tues! Got some negative feedbacks from lumpy n co, but some people thought otherwise. GOF is my favourite book,I really hope that the movie will be good. =)

Btw, after visiting my 2 yr-old cousin today, I'm convinced that I have a way with kids. I love them and they love me too. Hehe.

Apparently, the end of A's has driven us bonkers.



Yesterday marked the 1st official day after the end of A'levels.
To me, it was quite a fruitful day. I started packing all my stuffs in the morning. Managed to pack all my remaining stuffs neatly into 4 gigantic ring files. I threw away most of my tutorials, but I kept almost the whole set of notes for all 5 subjects. All these amount to 1 big black garbage bag. My sis is even better, she needed 2 garbage bags.

And then, I started watching the TVB drama 'Truimph in the skies'(Chong Shang Yun Xiao)! I borrowed the VCDs from SK way before the A'levels but didn't really had time to sit down and watch. Oh gosh, and I'm hooked onto the show, so was my mum.lol. We finished all 10 pieces in one day.I can't wait to get the remaining pieces from him.

After watching the show, I can't help but feel that pilots are such great people! =)
Hmm, and most guys do look good in the pilot uniform. Btw,I think Wu zhuo xi is damn cute!

It's 3 am now! Shall go and sleep.

Who knows, maybe I'll dream about marrying a pilot tonight and he'll fly me to the skies....=D

Hell is over, at least from now all the way till March.

I can't believe it. This day has finally arrived!!
But, frankly speaking,it feels darn weird to be slacking my ass off and watching TV without any notes in front of me.

I was just staring at the pile of notes in front of me just now and I feel the urge to pick them up and look through them again. Shall pack my stuffs tml and tidy up my study room. With me taking my A's n my sis taking her O's, the room looked as though a tornado had just passed by.

Think I'll be going out very often!! Woohoo! Need lots of cash though. =)

I can't believe we have come this far. Almost all the papers are over,save for Chem P1.
Oh well, guess this week has been better for me. Chem P2 was Ok,Econs mcq,drq n case studies were ok too. However,I think I am quite screwed for econs essay. Hope they'll mark leniently. If not, I am going to die.

Came home today feeling as though A' levels is already over. Was watching TV(not that I dun watch it everyday), but without any notes in my hands. Shall go practise Chem mcqs later.

Was watching Channel 8's star idol competition n I realised that one contestant called Nicholas bears an uncanny resemblance to Ady from Energy! OMG,to think that there's another person in this word who looked just like him, right on our little island. The guys were all quite good-looking. The girls just turns me off. I think most of them can't act at all, but well, they'll slowly pick up the skills as time goes by. Looks are still THE most important factor in the entertainment industry.

And I still tune in to Tong Xin Yuan everyday, despite knowing that it's a brainless show, which feels like a cross between zhen qing n the dramatic taiwanese xiang1 tu3 jus4. The plot just gets more ridiculous by the minute. But I like it. Haha. So unpredictable.

I can smell liberation in the air. 2 more days.

Shopping,gym,vcds,prom,chalets,movies,outings,earning money,painting my room.. Woohoo!

Cos there's a huge pasar malam near my house! Haven seen one around in ages.
Went there after dinner yesterday n found some cheap bargains.
A little retail therapy never fails to heal. =)

The more I think about it, the more I feel that I have screwed my A's up. Big time.

S'pore's exams branch lend a helping hand(so much for that) this year. That explains everything.

I can't wait for econs paper 3. I wonder what kind of ques they'll set. Most probably something out-of-this-world.

5 more days.I'm counting down.

I have gotten over past few days' grief. Shall try my best for Econs n the remaining Chem papers.

I am already thinking of back-up plans,in case I get really horrible results for the A'levels.

Cambridge is mean. The LKKs there are as scheming as the ones we have here on our little island.

No use crying spilled milk. Guess I'll just work and have fun after the A's and wait for hell to come in March, when we get our results back.

To hell with the A'levels. I think I'm so screwed. Except for the LEP Paper, which was quite OK, Maths n Chem had been disastrous for me, expecially Maths. I thought Paper 1 was harder than usual and I was still praying this morning that Paper 2 would be easier so that it can pull up my marks. Ha,BUT,P2 was equally disastrous. Managed to get answers for stats lah, but I really diden know what I was doing.WTH.

I think I can say goodbye to my A for Maths already. What more can I expect? I had always been really lousy at Maths.You guys shld have seen my grades last yr. Improved a lot this yr, but I died again and it had to be during the A'levels. Argh.

I'm not looking forward to the Econs n remaining Chem papers. Judging from the way Cambridge had set the 1st few papers, I think the rest won't be any better. Shldn't even have bought TYSes at all.

Seems like Damian's blog entry on his brother has got me thinking abt my younger sis. She's only 2 yrs younger than me, so we tend to share a lot of common interests. =) We had been rather close all along,though we do fight sometimes,especially when we were in pri sch.I think I had been a rather evil elder sister, selfish and mean at times. I vaguely remember hitting n bullying her quite frequently when we were young,over very trivial stuffs or erm,just for the sake of bullying her. But of course,I still love her a lot. =) She's preparing for her O'levels now while I'm preparing for my A's. Hope that her hard work will pay off! :D

Oh,ha. Jinx asked me to take a look at studentssketchpad and I was totally blown away by those comic strips. Damn hilarious.We should all just take it with a pinch of salt, afterall,some stuffs are indeed true,just that they exaggerated them. =)

Nov's Chopin by Jay Chou is out. Shall look at reviews 1st before deciding to buy it or not. Oh,and I think the songs in Chen qizhen's new album are very nice. Hmm..shall decide what to buy after the A's.

I can't wait for GOF!!!!!!!! GOF is my fav HP book! I want to watch it!!

Woohoo! Congrats pple, we survived the ordeal on 31st OCt. A 6hr-long Chinese essay-writing marathon which nearly broke our wrists.

A or not,I do not know. Language papers are unpredictable, plus the fact that the paper was quite manageable, so I think they will just raise the marks for A.

Whatever lah. It's over! HF is so cool lah. He just dumped the whole stack of notes into the recycling bin the moment we walked out of the room. I can't bear to do that actually,as much as I kept complaining abt how irritating guwen was.

1st thing to do after I have finished the A's: Read finish all 120 chapters of Hong Lou Meng!! Realised that a few others in 61 want to do that too!! Haha,let's go someone's house and chiong Hong Lou VCDs. =D I'm mad. We are mad.
