Office politics is truely exciting. With year-end stocktaking to be carried out, eveyone just gets on everybody else's nerves. lol. I heard a senior staff calling another staff a "small fry" behind her back and some other people calling my superior an "old hag". haha, heard that she was being banished to the 3rd floor. She's actually quite nice to me lah,save for being a little eccentric,naggy and boring?
I had been running up to the 4th floor quite often, almost everyday and my old seat was at the 4th floor, so the people there knows me already. Haha, I'll just sit there and chat with them while waiting for the printouts from the big printer. They were all bad-mouthing my superior and I was joining in the fun. I think they are all very nice people, helping me with stuffs and chatting with me, making me feel welcomed. Starting to enjoy work already cos I finally have people to complain to!
Had been working overtime the past few days. Hmm,I had been so occupied with work that Ididen realise that today is already friday, and almost the end of 2005. It's hard to believe that come January, JC1 has became something "2 yrs ago". It feels more like yesterday to me.
Seems like I remember more of the events that took place in 2004 than 2005. Eveything in 2005 is like a blur to me. I have a very vague impression of them.
I guess this should be my last entry for 2005 since I will not be at home tml night. Farewell 2005! =)

Work today was bad. I think I 've made a fool out of myself. I was very very free in the morning, and so was my superior. We were waiting for the other departments to finish their things before we can print the reports(papers with many holes at the side that kind) out from the big printer. We spent almost the whole day waiting.
And my superior thinks that I'm god, that I can load the papers into the troublesome machine by myself even though it was my 1st time doing it. Some other people helped me, but the printouts turned out to be either not aligned or jammed. And the reports were hundreds and thousands of pages long.So I went up and down, running to and fro, asking some guy to fix the problem. My superior(the one who thinks that I'm smart and yada-yada) started getting impatient(I think she wants to go home). I went up again and saw that the reports were not very aligned despite the papers being loaded by some senior staff there. And guess what,I burst into tears. OMFG. I can't believe I did that lah. I realised I was not in a very good mood when i woke up in the morning(maybe I got up from the wrong side of bed) due to a lack of sleep and some weird reasons. But still, i CAN'T believe I did that!
A few ladies saw that and tried to cheer me up,reassuring me that everything was alright. OMG. It was soo embarrassing lah. I still cannot believe I actually did that. Argh,bad mood,bad mood.Think everyone will be laughing at me when I go back tml. BUT i don't give a damn. They asked me back, so they can't get rid of me. For the sake of money, I don't really care. It's only for 2 or 3 more months. =) *ren3*
On the bus journey home, I started to reminiscence about my schooling days and I realised that I missed going to school. I missed being able to see my friends everyday,stoning at the class bench,huangcheng,CO,61,teachers(some),the canteen sessions. ..In short, I missed school. Was feeling kind of sad when I said gdbye to timo n co yesterday night cos I really dunno when xc will be meeting up again. Haha,I think I am going to miss them a lot. Take care guys!
Oh, and I'm currently counting down to CNY when I can have a nice,long break. =)

The feeling is starting to (slowly) fade away. Actually, I thought i had gotten over it, but I don't know why it came back again all of a sudden!! Argh. This is bad. But it's not as strong as before, which is good. =)And I feel like assasinating 2 particular people. Poke them like what I did to the sausages and fishballs and dump them into the boiling soup. *yummy*

Happy Boxing Day to all!!
I am finally blogging again after ten thousand years. My stupid computer was down with a virus( and I dunno where it came from). And it so happens that my boss wants me to work with some files from home. I almost freaked out cos my com was down. Told her that and she asked me to try to borrow a com from neighbours or friends(she made it sound so easy). Managed to find a shop in some ulu place at Boon Lay which got my com fixed within a day. *phew* If not I might not get any work done at all and end up getting fired by her.
Yup. I am employed once more. The company where I was working at called me last Tuesday and asked me to go back cos they needed people desperately. I accepted the offer since I was tired of looking for a job and well, the pay was good. But unfortunately, it's the last week of Dec now and I have to work overtime for the whole of this week cos they need to close the accounts and do stock-taking now. So stressful!! But for the sake of money....haha,i'll just bear with it. =) I think I will be quite free in Feb and March since there's no year end stock-taking etc. Yup,jia you Alice! -_-'' haha.
I had been going out for the past few days. Had dinner with jinx,kia,sk and some other chi soc people on friday. Orchard was already damn crowded then. The sight of the crowd just pissed me off.
Out shopping for presents with jinx,yuf and timo on xmas eve. Oh, I hope zy will like his presents. You must wear them when we go out k. ;) I love the rainbow bears/cats/dogs from Newurbanmale! haha, it's so Jinx. But that silly thing costs 25 bucks! Haha. Dunno who in the world will buy it.
Rushed home in the evening to finish up my work. I worked till 2 in the morning.
Out with the 2A gang on X'mas day. We were kind of crazy throughout the whole day. And I discovered one thing: kl is soo unglam!! Tsktsk. The roads were closed and we took pictures on the road! Imagine taking a picture in the middle of Orchard Road! =) Had dinner at Cartel in the evening. The seafood platter looks damn good. I'll get that the next time I go there. Oh,and I almost puked from my baked pasta. The portion was huge.
Should have ordered fish n'chips or the grilled dory fish. Boo.
Touching up on my work now and going out to Jinx's house later!! Wee!! =)

I thought that this week would be boring for me. But I was wrong. All the SMSes started coming in and I ended up going out everyday for the whole of this week.
Went to Cui's house to play bridge and a bit of Mahjong on Monday. Was gossiping and chatting as usual and I realised that all of them thought that I like a particular someone. But obviously, the answer is a firm NO. Not now and never in the future I guess.
Tsktsk.
Then there was the shopping trip with my sis on Thur and the outing with some of the 4Freakx people on Wed. Chen has ballooned after he had stopped training and sadly, he has no neck now and resembles a giant ping-pong ball(I hope he doesn't sees this). But I was really glad to see them again cos we have not really met up for more than a year. =)
Oh, and I watched Perhaps Love on Tues with Kia and Jessie. The movie was fantastic. Some people told me the movie was just so-so or boring, but the 3 of us thought otherwise. I thought it was worth far more than the 7 bucks I paid for. Yes, the plot was simple, but the way they presented the story and the parallels between their story and the movie they were fliming was absolutely brilliant. The songs and dances reminded me of Moulin Rouge, but I thought there were really some meaningful and intelligents bits to the movie,more than Moulin Rouge in fact. I absolutely agree with Damian. I love the way they started the movie. Don't you think it totally makes sense? i was like,going "wow" after i heard that introduction. That alone made me thougt about some things on my way home. Some people meant the world to me, but do i play such an important part in their lives? Do they treasure the friendship between us as much as I did? That I really don't know.
And yes, I thought Jacky Cheung's singing was great=). Takeshi Kaneshiro's and Zhou Xun's acting were good too.=) I think Perhaps Love is a very different and daring Chinese movie. Totally different from the typical Chinese movies which are usually brainless and cliched. A breakthrough in fact.
I want to watch lots of other movies, like Narnia, pride n prejudice,qing dian da sheng(though it looked brainless, but nvm)..
By the way, has anyone teared before while watching Full House? Don't tell me I was the only one who did.

So the much-awaited Prom Nite has came and gone. Was still busy shopping for all the prom stuffs last week and *poof* prom is over! I guess Prom Nite was a great way to conclude 2 yrs' of JC life in HC. =) I dun have any pics to post up here cos I was still using the traditional camera;) But i bet others will have tons of pics uploaded onto their blogs.
Our hotel room was at Ritz itself and the group of us arrived there at ard 2 plus as we were having our make-up and hair done there. I was one of the first to do my make-up n i think i gave that person a rather difficult time. I was fidgeting,rigid n erm, my hands were cold. I almost freaked out. That was so un-glam of me. She shaved off more than half of my very thick eye brows n for the 1st time in my life, i ended up with such thin eyebrows. i still think i looked weird with the thinner eyebrows. =)
There was more commotion as more arrived and everyone starting oohh-inh aahh-ing over pple's hairdo, outfits and shoes. Haha. It was 7 plus by the time we went down to the ballroom and everyone just went around taking pictures with practically anyone they know.
Argh, and by that time, 3 hrs have passed since i had my make up done. Most of it has came off n basically, i was left with my foundation n i realised i looked like a ghost in the photos! *sad* n it diden help that i'm not photogenic!! =(
Ha, a few pple said i looked quite nice(i think it's the skirt lah) n i was practically *floating*(let me live in my own world of fantasy for a while lah). The food sucked btw. It was so pathetic that i spent most of my time taking pictures. The video shown at the beginning brought back some wonderful memories though..=D
And everyone just went snapping n snapping n snapping away. Took pics with XC 04, XC 05, CO pple,classmates,sch mates,rv frens,pri sch frens and the list goes on.I had the sudden urge to take a pic with my eye candy, but chickened out in the end. But i managed to take pics with pple in sch whom i wld nv have gotten a chance to take pictures with, eg pri sch frens like jianting n YC. =) AND guess what. I took pics with everyone but JINX!! We only realised that today!!! *bangs head against wall*
Had no idea what time the event ended. We went up to our room, dumped our stuffs and headed to the esplanade where we took funny pics in our prom outfits. Went for a drink after that and headed back to the hotel. It was 3 am by that time n i stayed up the whole night, not even catching a wink for 1 minute. Played spin the bottle n had a gossip-sharing session where we unveiled some unknown secrets*ah-hem* ;) We were so weak! Had only a few sips of alcohol each n most of us felt queasy or dizzy already.
Went to have breakfast at 10 plus n returned to the hotel to slack after that cos we only need to check out at 12. =) Btw, the beds in ritz are super high. I attempted to jump onto the bed n ended up banging my knees against the wooden part below the mattress. -_-'
Oh, and us being bored people diden go straight home after that. Lazed around at Macs@Suntec until 3 before tearing ourselves away from the seats which we were glued to.
Slept like a log on Friday in order to recharge myself for Mayday's concert on Saturday. The concert was good. But the bass was kind of loud in the beginning n the music was loud throughout the concert. I swear i can feel my eardrums tearing apart. But Mayday was really really good n everyone was just so high. Cui and I stood throughout the whole concert n we were waving our lightsticks like mad. Hearing Mayday live makes u wanna jump n scream n just sing along to the lyrics of every song. =) Timo n his frens were sitting in front of us n they were super-duper high, which left cui n I staring in amusement. Haha.
The concert ended at 12 thus there was a long queue for taxis cos the last train has left. We shared a cab n took it all the way back to jurong n CCK. *burns a hole in pocket*
What an exciting week it has been for me. =)
and i'm looking forward to the week near X'mas too. More outings to come! =)

Just came back from chalet and I slept like a log! =)
I can't wait for prom now! I want to see everyone else's outfit!

Ok. I did something to my hair. So i spent a grand total of around 300 on prom now. My mum paid for my outfit,bag and of course the prom tix, so I guess it's only reasonable that I pay for the rest myself, since I'm the one going for prom, not her. Haha. Haven't gotten my pay yet and I'm spending money like nobody's business already. Have to find a new job soon!
Ok, so we are going to the zoo right? Haha. Yea, and ice-skating, and X'mas party!!! I can't wait!! =)

Finally have the time to sit down and update my blog. Had been really busy with work for the past few days. OK, I take back my words. The job is not as easy as I had thought.
It was quite "slack" during the first few days as the packing lists and the data from the various departments were not submitted in yet. Btw, I only realised a few days later that my temporary job is sort of like an assistant to an accountant. Keying in data is one thing, but having to key in hundreds of items and components and checking the costs, subtotal costs is another thing.
As most people know, Maths is the bane of my existence, so I was kind of freaked out by the mountains of figures i have to go through. The scariest thing that can happen to me is missing a line or when the costs does not match. So I've got to be really careful. Being an accountant was one of my ambitions in sec sch cos i thought it'll be really fun to count money. But after this job, i think accounting gets kind of boring after awhile and accountants are under a lot of great stress when the auditors start coming in and questioning you.
But my supervisor is really nice and patient with me. Learnt a lot from her. The designers sitting near me are really nice too. yup, the company i'm working in produces diaries and organisers to the overseas market and is quite well-known in Europe. Eveything is done within their premises, from designing from scratch to producing and publishing the final product.
Ha, when I see the designers working on designns, it kinda of reminded me of my days in XC. I'll be leaving on Tues. They asked me whether I want to extend my stay or not, but I can't lah cos there's prom and other stuffs. Dun think they will let me take leaves. I've really learnt a lot during this short period of time, things related to accounting and most importantly, I've became a Microsoft Excel expert now! Everything is done via Excel and I diden know Excel has so many functions! =) But my back, neck and arms ached from using the computer from 8 to 5. That's my job for you =).
I want to watch Chicken Little, perhaps love and i want to go to the zoo!!
Can't wait for prom now! Spent a grand total of around 160 for my outfit, shoes, bag and one necklace. Quite Ok right. *ah-hem* I've heard of guys who spent more than us girls.;)
