So the much-awaited Prom Nite has came and gone. Was still busy shopping for all the prom stuffs last week and *poof* prom is over! I guess Prom Nite was a great way to conclude 2 yrs' of JC life in HC. =) I dun have any pics to post up here cos I was still using the traditional camera;) But i bet others will have tons of pics uploaded onto their blogs.

Our hotel room was at Ritz itself and the group of us arrived there at ard 2 plus as we were having our make-up and hair done there. I was one of the first to do my make-up n i think i gave that person a rather difficult time. I was fidgeting,rigid n erm, my hands were cold. I almost freaked out. That was so un-glam of me. She shaved off more than half of my very thick eye brows n for the 1st time in my life, i ended up with such thin eyebrows. i still think i looked weird with the thinner eyebrows. =)

There was more commotion as more arrived and everyone starting oohh-inh aahh-ing over pple's hairdo, outfits and shoes. Haha. It was 7 plus by the time we went down to the ballroom and everyone just went around taking pictures with practically anyone they know.
Argh, and by that time, 3 hrs have passed since i had my make up done. Most of it has came off n basically, i was left with my foundation n i realised i looked like a ghost in the photos! *sad* n it diden help that i'm not photogenic!! =(

Ha, a few pple said i looked quite nice(i think it's the skirt lah) n i was practically *floating*(let me live in my own world of fantasy for a while lah). The food sucked btw. It was so pathetic that i spent most of my time taking pictures. The video shown at the beginning brought back some wonderful memories though..=D

And everyone just went snapping n snapping n snapping away. Took pics with XC 04, XC 05, CO pple,classmates,sch mates,rv frens,pri sch frens and the list goes on.I had the sudden urge to take a pic with my eye candy, but chickened out in the end. But i managed to take pics with pple in sch whom i wld nv have gotten a chance to take pictures with, eg pri sch frens like jianting n YC. =) AND guess what. I took pics with everyone but JINX!! We only realised that today!!! *bangs head against wall*

Had no idea what time the event ended. We went up to our room, dumped our stuffs and headed to the esplanade where we took funny pics in our prom outfits. Went for a drink after that and headed back to the hotel. It was 3 am by that time n i stayed up the whole night, not even catching a wink for 1 minute. Played spin the bottle n had a gossip-sharing session where we unveiled some unknown secrets*ah-hem* ;) We were so weak! Had only a few sips of alcohol each n most of us felt queasy or dizzy already.

Went to have breakfast at 10 plus n returned to the hotel to slack after that cos we only need to check out at 12. =) Btw, the beds in ritz are super high. I attempted to jump onto the bed n ended up banging my knees against the wooden part below the mattress. -_-'
Oh, and us being bored people diden go straight home after that. Lazed around at Macs@Suntec until 3 before tearing ourselves away from the seats which we were glued to.

Slept like a log on Friday in order to recharge myself for Mayday's concert on Saturday. The concert was good. But the bass was kind of loud in the beginning n the music was loud throughout the concert. I swear i can feel my eardrums tearing apart. But Mayday was really really good n everyone was just so high. Cui and I stood throughout the whole concert n we were waving our lightsticks like mad. Hearing Mayday live makes u wanna jump n scream n just sing along to the lyrics of every song. =) Timo n his frens were sitting in front of us n they were super-duper high, which left cui n I staring in amusement. Haha.

The concert ended at 12 thus there was a long queue for taxis cos the last train has left. We shared a cab n took it all the way back to jurong n CCK. *burns a hole in pocket*

What an exciting week it has been for me. =)

and i'm looking forward to the week near X'mas too. More outings to come! =)
