Finally have the time to sit down and update my blog. Had been really busy with work for the past few days. OK, I take back my words. The job is not as easy as I had thought.
It was quite "slack" during the first few days as the packing lists and the data from the various departments were not submitted in yet. Btw, I only realised a few days later that my temporary job is sort of like an assistant to an accountant. Keying in data is one thing, but having to key in hundreds of items and components and checking the costs, subtotal costs is another thing.

As most people know, Maths is the bane of my existence, so I was kind of freaked out by the mountains of figures i have to go through. The scariest thing that can happen to me is missing a line or when the costs does not match. So I've got to be really careful. Being an accountant was one of my ambitions in sec sch cos i thought it'll be really fun to count money. But after this job, i think accounting gets kind of boring after awhile and accountants are under a lot of great stress when the auditors start coming in and questioning you.

But my supervisor is really nice and patient with me. Learnt a lot from her. The designers sitting near me are really nice too. yup, the company i'm working in produces diaries and organisers to the overseas market and is quite well-known in Europe. Eveything is done within their premises, from designing from scratch to producing and publishing the final product.

Ha, when I see the designers working on designns, it kinda of reminded me of my days in XC. I'll be leaving on Tues. They asked me whether I want to extend my stay or not, but I can't lah cos there's prom and other stuffs. Dun think they will let me take leaves. I've really learnt a lot during this short period of time, things related to accounting and most importantly, I've became a Microsoft Excel expert now! Everything is done via Excel and I diden know Excel has so many functions! =) But my back, neck and arms ached from using the computer from 8 to 5. That's my job for you =).

I want to watch Chicken Little, perhaps love and i want to go to the zoo!!

Can't wait for prom now! Spent a grand total of around 160 for my outfit, shoes, bag and one necklace. Quite Ok right. *ah-hem* I've heard of guys who spent more than us girls.;)
