Ok, results will be out on 1st March. What a great way to start off the month of March. Everyone knows that it will be out next week lah, but reality sank in when I heard it on the news, that results are really going to be out. I am feeling very very worried now. I know it's silly to be so worried over something which I can't control, but still, I can't help but worry.
And it doesn't help that I have a very bad feeling about my results. Seriously, I know 4As is impossible for me, but I really hope that I can at least scrape through with some decent grades.
Aiyah, and why can't it be on a Friday. Next day still got to go back to work and the whole world will surely be asking me how well I did lah.
*sigh* Let's hope that if I do blog on Wed, my post will be a happy one. Good luck to everyone out there!

The weekend was great. Haha, ever since I started working, weekends have became very precious to me. I make it a point to spend time with my family or friends over these 2 precious days instead of bumming around.
Out with Jinx and Kia on Sat to celebrate Kia's birthday. Met Jinx earlier to buy Kia's present and praying that we won't bump into her cos she told me she would be in town too. Haha. And we discovered that there's sales everywhere!! I felt like spending money, yet I can't bear to part with my money cos I know how hard it is to earn every single cent. I think I have became more thrifty(relatively.ah-hem) after I have started working, which is good. =)
Oh, and Jinx and I chatted with Damian, who was polishing his boots away at home. See, your wife and daughter missed you (and the inheritance).
And so we got Kia a yellow notebook! I like it too! I might get the purple or pink one! Dinner was at Pastamania, where all of us ordered baked pasta. I got quite sick of it halfway through, but I finished it anyway. And Jinx, Kia also said that you are skinny lor. You better eat more! =/
Ha, and we sort of decided that we are going to HongKong for a short holiday. But as for the details..haha, we are working it out.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention one thing. Bomber's milkshake is super nice! A must-try if u do patronise Billy Bomber's. YT and I tried it under Jas's "ren tou lou di" recommendation. -_-"
The 3 of us are so lazy. Haha. We wanted to go for the NTU seminar at Bugis intially, but after hearing that there was nothing much, we ended up shopping in the end. I bought my first-ever item from TopShop, a top which costs me $23, which is ok I guess. It's TopShop afterall.
We saw the whole world at Bugis cos many people were there for the NTU thingy. And we realised that the whole world wants to get into Accountancy/Business. Hmm, I shall reconsider. Less and less enthusiastic about Businesss. Chem and Mass Comm, or even Chinese should be something I will consider. =D
Anyone bought JJ's album? I think it's quite nice. Listened to it a few times already. I prefer his kind of "Zhong guo feng" to Lee Hom's, not that Lee Hom's one is not nice. Just that I feel more comfortable with JJ's brand of music. =) Haha, and the lyrics from
"Cao Cao" sounds likes something out of the
Tang shis from LEP. LOL.
Off to watch Campus Superstar's results! I hope Adriano and Xinying gets in!

Working is the best way to kill time. See, before I know it, it's Friday again! And so the rumours are just rumours, results are not out today. If not, I won't be here already. I'll most probably be somewhere crying away.
Anyway, after working in an office for 2 months, I realised that this place is hazardous to one's health. The biggest threat of all goes to paper cuts. I wonder why the hell the office orders palates n palates of papers which are super-sharp at the sides. I could feel the paper cutting across the flesh on my fingers when I brushed the sides accidentally. On the average, I suffer from about 3 paper cuts(both major n minor ones) per week.
Prolonged exposure to air-conditioning has resulted in the skin of my hands to become rather dry. And it doesn't help that the air-con is super cold at times, so much so that many people are sneezing away. With generous colleagues passing their tidbits around, it's doesn't take much effort to grow fat during my stay here. Now I know why more than half of the females in my office are eh, prosperous looking. For once in my life, I dun feel that BIG.
Work is just so different from sch. It's either u do or die. It's all about money and PR skills. No OCPs, no MC, no ponning, no 2 hrs break. Haha, sch still rocks. I dun even mind going for lectures now. At least in sch, everyday is a new experience. Though I've learned a lot from working over the past 2 months, I still feel that everyday is the same to me.
My daily routine: Wake up at 6, chase after the company shuttle at 7, reach office at 7.30, starts to be busy (if not, pretends to be busy during off-peak periods), steal glances at the computer clock, starts to get excited at 10 plus or 11 plus cos it is going to be 12 soon, go for lunch, come back and continue with work, steal glances at the computer clock, starts to get excited at 3 or 4 plus cos it is going to be 5 soon, pack up at 5 and chase after company transport at 5.30. Haha, how exciting. =)
I think my body has already programmed itself to be accustomed to such a lifestyle, such that I dun really mind going to work at all I guess.
It's the weekend again. Off to enjoy myself! =)

It's been a hectic week so far, with the usual month-end closing to do. And I just realised one thing, I do love figures. I sucked at Maths and I hate stuff like integration, differentitation, complex no, but when it comes to just figures alone, I think I'm quite good at it and I actually enjoy working with them. =) Tml should be the end of the closing, which means I can do brainless admin work again! Haha.
And yes, I finally tried the Chicken F*n-tastic from Macs, and I have to tell u guys this, it's far from fantastic.
What I heard from my friend was right, it does taste like
Lor Mai Gai. I'm not kidding! And if u really want to try the rice burger, please take-away and eat it at home. With chunks of purple veggie falling out, gooey sauce oozing out and the rice patty breaking apart as u eat, it can be quite a disgusting sight to people around you. So much for being, eh, fantastic.
*Sigh* I tried very hard not to think about my results, but with the O'level results coming out tml, I can't help but worry about my A'level results. If I were from any other JC, I think I won't be that worried. But I'm from HC lah, and it's like, 3/4 of the cohort get at least 3 As and more than half get 4As. I think I'll most probably be that 1/4 which does not get at least 3As, or worse, not a single A at all.
I'm hoping for the best, but I guess it's too late to do anything now.
Zuo4 zhe4 deng2 si3 ba4. =/

I think I had too long a break. I'm lazy to go back to work again on Monday, even though it means money rolling into my bank account. And it doesn't help that results is coming out in less than 1 month's time. Think my brain is not functioning very well at the moment, so pray that I won't screw things up at work tml.
Happy Birthday to my mum(5 Feb) and XF(4 feb)! Seems like there's a lots of birthdays going on in Jan and Feb.
Anyway, went to XF's house yesterday, together with Jinx and EL. I think the 3 of us were damn stupid. We thought we could sort of surprise her by shouting Happy Birthday from her corridor window, which was half-opened. We were hiding behind the part that was closed, forgetting that most windows in HDB flats are built in such a way that the people inside can see what's going on outside while the ones outside cannot see what's going on inside. And so we stepped out from behind to see the amused expression on her family members' faces. And yes, her whole family was present and her father was roaring with laughter. -_-'' *sigh*
Haha, I hoped she likes the present. Oh, we looked through her photo albums. All the way from sec 1 to JC2. I think XF is a stalker, just like jinx. Haha.
We left when her relatives started to arrive for her bday celebration. We saw her cousin (who's damn cute, but a little too short) and started to go crazy over him. Ok, me and el went crazy while jinx was unfazed cos she has her eyes set on somebody else already. ;)
I am so not looking forward to the month of Feb. Not a single public holiday ahead. That means it's 20 days of work with no break, save for weekends. *sigh*
