I love long weekends. The month of May has not 1, but 2 of these long weekends. I have loads of activities lined up for this month! Wee~ I love being busy!

This week had been rather fun so far: dinner at Sakae with colleagues on Tues, dinner with Timo on Wed, Sentosa trip on Sat and shopping trip today! I shall just slack at home tml. Afterall, it's 1st of May. We shouldn't be doing any work at all, save for sleeping and eating. =) Speaking of Sentosa, we were planning to just shop at Harbourfront cos it was pouring like mad at jurong. But it turns out that it was super bright and sunny over at Sentosa! Still, I diden get very tanned in the end. And I think we are growing old and senile. After 2 rounds of bridge (which took us forever), playing with seawater and a few games of frisbee, we were dead beat. That's like so lousy lah!

I think I am suffering from a lack of excercise for a few mths already. I think the only form of excercise I did over the past few mths was:

- Doing a 100m dash every morning in attempt to chase after the company transport (which seems to arrive earlier and earlier)

- Climbing up the stairs to my 3rd floor office every morning

-Climbing up the stairs to the pantry to refill my water 2 times a day

- Cimbing up the stairs to the canteen for lunch

And that's it!!! So unfit right?

Shall try to excercise more (if time permits).

Anyway, I bought nice slippers from Charles & Keith and a nice puma bag! Happy with my findings today. =)

And I had been reading lots of newspapers and following the news closely on the GE. I think politics in S'pore is rather unique. You can't say that it's bland and boring. It's a form of culture. I am very interested in what each party has to say and offer. I love observing politics, but not being involved in them though. =)

I am in a chirpy mood! And Cao Ge rocks my socks!

*Burps*

I am super bloated after a pigging out session at Sakae with my colleagues.
FYI, there's a Sakae Sushi restaurant at The Frontier (new Community Centre opp Jurong Point). We chionged there after work and had a great gossip session over plates of sushi, chawanmushi, soba and softshell crabs!

Hehe, as if that's not enough. We headed over to Macs at JP and started crapping again. I love my colleagues! They are super nice and funny people! We are hatching a plan to all quit together. Haha, we shall see. =)

Something rather random here:
I discovered that Soler's and Tank's songs are very nice!
And mind you, the twins in Soler are super hot and charismatic! The best thing is, there's not one, but 2 of these yummy candies! =D

And OMG, tics for JJ's concert in June are selling like hotcakes! I better go get them soon!

Lalala. It's Friday again! =)

And I just realised that I am waaay good at rotting. I didn't go to work yesterday cos I got to go down to OCBC Centre for the OCBC scholarship interview. Haha, as usual, I wore my slippers and only change into court shoes when I have almost reached the venue. So unglam of me, sitting right in the middle of Raffles Place Square changing my footwear. The interview went quite well. But there's only 1 round, so it's either you get it or you don't. Hahaha. Nvm, I got to see cute bankers. =)

It ended super early cos I reached there around 35 mins earlier and they moved me up. So I was out at around 10.15. Went down to the National Library after that and spent around 2 hrs plus at Level 9 (Chinese collection). They have new hong lou related books! I was very very impressed by their vast collection of chinese books. It's a pity that not many people knows how to appreciate these books. Ha, and level 9 was super empty and quiet (Chinese books mah) save for a few retirees and chinese nationals. So I had a great time reading my books in that tranquil environment.

I had lots of time to kill before meeting KL at 5. So in between, I combed Bugis Junction, went down to Orchard, combed Heerens, Cine and Far East before going to Taka to meet her. Ha, see? i sure know how to rot right?

Then we walked down to PS to register for the TNP Big Walk. I can't believe I walked that much in one day! Oooh, and we had dinner at the Manhattan Fish Market/Place? Heard of it but never tried before until now. The seafood platter was good!! Fantastic!! But the servings were super HUGE. We couldn't finish it! Can you believe it?? The 2 of us have huge appetittes, so that means the platter was really HUGE.

I can't stop smiling. Nice week I had! And when I got home, I received a letter from NTU telling me that I got into Business! Yay! And there's another letter stating that they are offering me a guaranteed 1st and 2nd specialisation of my choice at the end of my 1st year. Lol.

Enjoy your weekend people! =) And CY is still as cute as ever!

It's pouring! What a good friday. Bleah.

Anyway, I went for the 2nd round of FIREfly scholarship interview on Tuesday. What an eye-opener it was. At least, I know where I stand. lol.

It lasted from 8 plus till 5. We had games, those kind of grp work brainstorming thingy, individual presentation and an open negotiation session. All the while, there were people by the side assessing us. Ha.

And my day happened to be full of RJ people. Less than 5 HC peepx. And those people were damn zai lah. They were speaking and talking without even having to stop to think. Basically, I was pretty much quiet throughout the thing. I mean, I dun have anyuthing intelligent to say and by the time I thought of what to say, they were already talking at a high speed. Haha, my angmoh too lousy already, really no fight. Haha, so, bye-bye FIREfly. Out of 200 plus people, they only give out 30 plus leh. Chances are damn slim. But nevertheless, it was a good experience. Not many people get to spend one whole day and have lunch at EBD learning centre. *winkx*

Up next, the OCBC one. Haha. Bond-free. I bet criteria are even more stringent.

Enjoy ur long weekend people!

JADE! Haha.

We are mad. You should have seen the conversation between Sheepy and I. It's totally paedohpilic and psychotic.

But whatever, like what Jinx have said, I can't help but say *yum* at the sight of CY! How can anyone be so cute??!!!

*Squeals*

Life is good

Life is good for now I would say.

Work has never been so fun, fulfilling and enriching before. =)
With the senior accountant on medical leave, I am directly under the manager.
I thought I would die, but it turns out that she trusts me a lot and just leave me to do my work most of the time without loading me with tons of stuffs. Plus the fact that she sits in a room far away from me and not right next to me, I could pretty much slack and chat with my colleagues whenever I feel like doing it. Hoho.

And I found new lunchtime kakis. Those ladies are super funny, super eh, horny and gossipy, providing me with the most amusing stories about the-ones-up-there, the lechers in the office and the slackers who take home a big fat salary every month. I was super tickled during lunchtime everyday.

Down for the 2nd round of Firefly interview(which I think a lot of people got through too) and we are supposed to give a 5-minute presentation! Ha, I hope I dun get cold feet and blabber nonsense.

And yes, I went to collect my funnkkkaaaayyy specs! Hoho! I think its super nice lah! =) Woohoo. Time for a new look. Up next is a new haircut and a new hair colour!

Wooo!! Chee Yang won!!! Never wasted my votes, and lots of other crazy seniors' *winkx*

I was feeling very nostalgic all of a sudden when I saw the scene of the school cheering him on all the way (though the yellow flag was kind of ugly).
I feel really really old even though I had left school for only a few months.
Bah. Dun think I will ever get a chance to be that crazy anymore.

I should have treasured my times in HC more (not that I diden treasure them at all), but yar, you get what I mean. =) I dun even mind if you throw me in the middle of an econs lect now lah. I swear I won't pon again.

Ohwells. Hope that Uni life will be fun. But..I still miss HC. =)

I am finally blogging!

Sorry, had been busy watching Da Chang Jing every night and heading straight for bed after that. =) Anyway, Da Chang Jing is a super nice show!

The whole week was just work, work and more work ,but I took leave on Tuesday for the Firefly scholarship interview. Duh, why do my daughters want to know how the interview went??

I thought it would be something super scary, like all 7 agencies under Firefly shooting questions at me while I sit on a chair placed right in the middle of the room. But it's not like that. I was directed to a small room, with a representative from the agency I had chosen as the 1st choice (STB in my case) and there you have it, an interview. The room was quite dark lah, so luckily I was not so kiasu as to be super formal and wear make-up etc. Dun think she could even see my face lor. LOL.

It was pretty much a share-your-experience...problems-you-have-met-and-how-you-overcame-them blah blah kind of thingy. So u have to think of some examples on the spot and just crap your way through. That woman seemed rather informal to me, so I ended up being pretty informal too throughout the interview, more like complaining and telling stories to her rather than being interviewed. Haha. I guess I am pretty screwed. Anyway, it's only the 1st round. Dun think it will be that easy to go all the way to the last round.

Waited for KL and we went back to school to ask the teachers to help fill up some appraisal forms. Haix, school was just so full of life! I miss schooling! Oooohh, and I saw Chee Yang at the consultation area! =D Yea, hope he wins the competition!

And yes, I went to make new specs after that. Funky specs! *lol* It cost me a bomb! But never mind, it's good to have a change. =)
