Liberation!

Today marks the start of my slacking days! I have finally quitted my job! No more work for me till the start of school! I had been slogging my guts out since december lah, so I guess I don't feel that guilty for quitting and slacking so early??

Anyway, a big THANK YOU to Bertieboo for landing me this job. The fact that it pays well is besides the point. Most importantly, I have really learned a lot over the past few months. I appreciate the fact that the management thinks highly of me, trust me totally and gave me ample opportunities to constantly learn new things. It's more stressful than normal temp jobs, but at least I learnt how to close accounts, value inventories, estimate the cost price of a product( in this case diaries, calendars etc), pretending to be busy(oops) and of course, how to build up a good relationship with my colleagues.

In fact, I felt kind of sad during the last day. Sad that I am leaving my wonderful colleagues, but nevertheless relieved that I have escaped from the life-threatening mid-yr stocktake. I received a few gifts and an unexpected huge soft toy from one of the manager. My clique at work pooled in their resources and treated me to lunch - delivery from Oishi Pizza, which btw, offers super yummy flavours like kimchi chicken, unagi with leek, wasabi seafood etc. *smacks lips*

And that marks the end of my working stint.

Oh, I had been seeing tons of familiar faces around at JP due to the NTU medical checkup. I got a nice surprise when I bumped into Jaime, 2 of her friends and her mum yesterday. We just talked and talked and I ended up walking with them for awhile. Good to catch up with her. Look forward to seeing her in school.

Speaking of the checkup, fret not people, it's super duper fast. Haha. I think it lasted for less than 3 mins? Or maybe it's because I reached near lunchtime and the doctor was eager to go off for lunch? Hehe.

Yay~ 4 more days to JJ's concert! =)
