2006 is coming to an end in less than an hour's time!

It's scary how quickly time flies. I could still vividly remember what I was doing exactly 1 year ago on this very day. I was at Jinx's house with Kia, watching the Taipei 101 countdown on tv while ringing the whole world up at the stroke of midnight. We gulped down 4 bottles of Vodka, slept for a few hours before going to Delifrance for breakfast at BPP. Ha, do you remember all these details, my dear Jinx and Kia? =)

2006 is a very significant year for many of us, a year full of changes, new beginnings and new experiences.

I was slogging my guts out for moolah from Jan to June at some ulu company, in between meet-up with friends and the release of the A'level results. Pondered over which Uni to go to, which scholarship to apply for, what course to take. Ended up reading Business at NBS with a Nanyang Scholarship.

July saw me travelling to Redang Island and Hong Kong, biding farewell to part of my hard-earned money.

Had a xiong1 orientation camp just before school started in August. Met new people, made new friends. Life was basically quite mundane - printing notes every few days, rushing projects, mugging for quizzes. I was counting down to the weekend every week. That was how sickening school was. Argh.

October was a month many of us were looking forward to, where we could all go back to HC for MAF and meet up with our dearest JC mates.

November came too soon and I was mugging for my sem1 exams when I had not even really settled down yet.

December was a super hectic month with song-signing practices almost 4 times per week. Got to know many more WSC's RSPHI people, who are all super nice and fun-loving. =)

So much changes had taken place indeed in a short span of 1 year.

一转眼, we are all into the last hour of 2006.

May 2007 be a great year ahead for all of us, a year filled with love, warmth, good luck, good grades and great health.

Cheers!

Merry X'mas!!

*jingle bells, jingle bells*

Merry X'mas to all!! I can't believe it, it's Christmas time again! 2006 is coming to an end soon!!

Am feeling a little weird now cos there's no more song-signing pracs. 所谓,“台上十分钟,台下十年功”, the intensive pracs were all for a 3 to 4 min performance on stage. Lol. The past few days had been filled with fun and madness, with us performing at 1 shopping centre everyday. Really had a lot of fun with the super enthusiastic and crazy HI people. =) We sure know how to 自high huh. The last day of our performance was especially fun, with gift exchange, dinner, arcade and movie session all in one night. I ended up reaching home at around 2 plus in the morning. *Sheesh*

Picture galore:

At East Point

At Bugis Junction

At Jurong Point

At West Mall

And finally...I feel loved cos I received plenty of presents and cards! =)

The cutest thing at the moment..

What's wrong with that?

人越大,越懒得socialize。还是活在我自己小小的疯狂世界里好。

I hate playing fastest fingers first! Was told that we could actually changed our indexes for our modules today and I got ready to start clicking at 1230 on the dot. But apparently I'm still not fast enough cos almost all the slots I wanted had zero vancancies left when I tried to change my index. Tsktsk. I wonder how people do it. =/

I gave up and stopped waiting at 2pm. Went to Bugis to meet DAZY, J and Beng for our little adventure down Arab St and the National Museum. Arab St has lots of shops selling textiles and beads! So those people who are interested in making accessories can go take a look there. I still think Little India is much more interesting though. Haha.

We walked all the way from Bugis to the National Museum! we stopped by Miss Clarity Cafe, which I finally visited and had fondue there. It's the opening festival of the National Museum so entrance was free. The exhibitions were quite interesting, mainly about the food, fashion, photography and films from the early days of S'pore. We spent quite a while looking through the exhibitions. Who says museums are boring? I think the exhibitions are totally cool and really gave us a glimpse of the past.

Anyway, the highlight of the day has got to be the giant balloon structure called Amozozo right outside the museum. There's absolutely nothing at all inside the structure. There's just holes and short tunnels inside the structure, with coloured lights shining on different parts of the walls. Very hard to describe it here. Go down and take a look if u guys are free. Or U can have a feel of how it looks like from the pics we took (Haha. we look like we are clubbing with all the coloured lightings).

This week had been super hectic for me, with song-signing practices on mon wed fri and sat and hall sub comm meetings on tues and thur! It's no wonder that I fell sick. *sigh* I need rest!

Song-signing pracs are fun! I'm addicted to it! But I think everyone's feeling stressed cos our performance is coming and there's so many things to remember, like formation and special actions etc. And there's also the carnival which we are planning for, which somehow doesn't seem very feasible in so many ways. My life revolves around HI now, just like how it had revolved around CO in RV and 黄城 in HC. =) I guess I will forever be a super busy person with lots of committments. *lol* So much for wanting to slack and be a chao mugger in Uni.

Anyway people, the venues and time are confirmed! Come down to watch HI of WSC perform and give us your support! =)

19th Dec - East Point 730pm
20th Dec - Jurong Point 715pm
21st Dec - Bugis Junction 7pm
22nd Dec - West Mall 6pm

Btw, I had been downloading songs like mad ever since I watched last night's Project Superstar2. Songs from the 80s and 90s to be exact, like You Ke Li Lin's and Kit Chan's. :) They are freaking nice lah!

And finally, some random pictures from a recent outing:

I'm so studious! I spent the afternoon at the National Library with kia yesterday. I got rather excited over the fact that they added new books to their 红楼 collection. It was so nice to just nua at the couches in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, with a book in my lap. We walked around Bugis Village for awhile after that, where we spotted tons of pretty stuffs! I want those totally cute hand-painted flats! Shall go back there to get it next time. =)

Anyway, I think there will be no more chances for me to slack at the library anymore. I looked at my schedule for Dec and it's like totally P-A-C-K-E-D. Just take a look at this:

I have effectively only 2 free weekdays from now till the 22nd of Dec!! The rest are all mainly dedicated to HI's song-signing practices and sub-comm meetings. We will be performing from the 19th to 22nd at various shopping centres. I will post the details up here when everything's confirmed! Haha, do drop by to support us k!

There goes my hols. =( Ohwell. There's no turning back! Should just put in our best and enjoy the event!
